More Quick Notes
I'm recovering from something again. This time, it's V for Vendetta. Late tonight, I shall attempt to explain its sheer awesome-ness. For now, I bask in remembered glory.
Oh, and the COP was the hero. Yay! Ok, fine, so was V, but really, Inspector Finch was the best.
It was so good that I completely forgot that there was a Pirates of the Carribean 2 trailer...now that's good.
The down side? Alex's copy of Pride & Prejudice got here...arrgh. I mean, I like Jane Austen more than the next guy, but this version is messed up. Really. I can talk about that, too, if you like - or didn't, like I didn't.
Ok, ok, will be back. Discuss amongst yourselves.

okay, I haven't seen V for Vendetta, but you are not the first person here who has recommended it. A friend has written in great depth a whole blog on it, and sold it to me, but I don't think it's this side of the pond.
If you could get to see the BBC dramatisation of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth; well now you're talking..... Mikey, even you'd like it.... yes, even men have liked it ;o)

V for Vendetta isn't in the cinemas in Australia yet (I don't think), but it looks good. I'm up for anything spectacular.
Pride & Prejudice? I share your distaste, Mike. But then, I never was a big fan of Jane Austen and her ilk. I was the outcast of my University Literature class. *rolls eyes*
I've heard the Colin Firth BBC version was good... but really, that was just because it was Colin Firth, wasn't it? All the women I know who loved that version were really just drooling over him.
Not that I can judge, mind. LOL
I am going on Friday! I cannot wait!
As for the new version of Pride and Prejudice, no thank you! I loved the 6 hr BBC version.
