Bits and Pieces
Well, tomorrow looks to suck a lot. I have to go canvass somewhere, and interact with some fairly obnoxious people. It'll be a long, long, day.
I'm really tempted to take Munch up on his offer to use his old computer, so I can burn my CDs. Looking around, it is a fairly odd lot at that. A bunch them have been left here, admittedly, but now they're mine, I guess. He also suggested stealing BG's shorts from the gym lockers and selling them on eBay(?) but that's crossing a line.
Among the piles are stuff that I've mentioned to a few people here. Lowen & Navarro, for instance - if you're curious about them, "Walking on a Wire" is a really good song to try them out with. Eh, I'm rambling. I'll quit before I get more boring.
I do need help, though. I have 6 days to figure out which song, and after how many margaritas, I make my move. I have to sort all through this stuff and find something. Maybe I'll throw out contenders, although I do have a possible winner in mind.
Oh, and have any of you heard of either "The Churchills" or "Something for Kate?"
Speaking of Kate, which was nutty recurring ex's real name at one point, she finally responded with the list. After some fine-tuning, and adding some rebuttals, I'll get it out there. Will that satisfy the penguins?

I've seen something for kate live, they go off. The atmosphere was amazing. I didn't like the moshpit though.

Sadly enough, I heard them doing a remake, "Harpoon," and now I need their album.
I hate moshing as well. I go through life trying NOT to get smacked into.
You know what you need Mikey? Gaelic Storm. Good times, happy music. Both my friend and I use it as our happy music. And back when we were planning to go to Ireland (poor student + no job = no Ireland), we were going to cruise around the awesome countryside and listen to it. Gaelic Storm, good times.
Selling Bobby's shorts could probably get you a ton of money.
Sorry for the double post, my computer crapped out. I also wanted to mention that rebuttal is a funny word. So is penal. And badunkadunk...and subpoena. Lots of funny words. I hope that won't make you start snickering or something while talking to someone. That would kind of suck..or it would be funny.
I cleaned it up for you, ek, but if I lose it the next time some one says subpoena, I blame you.

judging by how much a black T shirt went for on Ebay a couple of weeks ago,maybe you should sell the shorts!! It would fund quite a few dates.

LOL I didn't mean it was dirty, I meant I was sitting here distracted from my work at midnight and snickering at "rebuttal". It's a funny word. Which means it'll probably get added to the list of reasons I randomly start laughing. Yeah.
Anyway, Gaelic Storm. Tree is a good album and Hearding Cats, and also Special Reserve. I haven't listened much to their new one, How Do We Get Home From Here (I think), but my friend loves it.
Speaking for the "Kates" of the world: So sorry you were wronged. Anyway, I prefer "Katie," but only when it's whispered close enough to make the hair on the nape of my neck stand up.
By the way, I'm going to be drunk and disorderly at a company Xmas party a few days hence. It's downtown NYC, within shouting distance of 1PP at the old "Cathedral of Commerce," for those in-the-know ...
Well, if you get enough margaritas in her, maybe SHE will make the move. Then you wouldn't have to worry about it! Or would that freak you out? Some guys don't like it when their dates make the move.
Can't help with the song, I don't listen to too much of todays noise they call music. I prefer the oldies!

Thanks to you, "Displaced." I promise to get back to blogging someday soon, but (as Shadow already knows) I had a little invasion of privacy issue crop up. I've had to go underground whilst I sort it all out. (Personal privacy issues actually matter to me ... who'd have guessed from my posts here and elsewhere?)

Um... I'm more traditional with music. If you want mood music, try Il Divo's version of Mariah Carey's Hero. You could use that to set any mood.

MrsBG, I have no doubts about that at all. LOL And I know the bidding war would probably start the next apocalypse. But, you've gotta wonder... why is Munch even thinking about another guy's shorts???
